BitterDisk

Acceptable Use Policy

Updated July 8, 2026

BitterDisk is public transfer infrastructure. To keep it usable and lawful, some content and conduct are strictly prohibited. Using BitterDisk means you agree to this policy and to our Terms.

Prohibited content

Do not upload, share, or request:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance. We remove it, preserve it as required, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement.
  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, or phishing — anything designed to harm, deceive, or gain unauthorized access.
  • Illegal content, or content that violates any applicable law.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property — copyrighted works, trademarks, or trade secrets you do not have the right to share.
  • Stolen, confidential, or unlawfully obtained data, including others' personal or financial information.
  • Content that threatens, harasses, defames, or promotes violence against any person or group, or non-consensual intimate imagery.

Prohibited conduct

Do not attempt to circumvent size, rate, or expiry limits; do not use BitterDisk to distribute at scale in ways that abuse the service; and use the documented API only as described. We may block IPs, codes, or users that abuse the service.

Enforcement

We may remove any content and block any user at our discretion, with or without notice. Because content expires quickly, removal is often the fastest remedy.

Reporting abuse and copyright (DMCA)

To report prohibited content, use the Report link on any transfer page, or email abuse@bitterdisk.com. Include the four-character code and a short description of the problem. For copyright complaints, email the same address with: the work claimed to be infringed, the BitterDisk code, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act, and your signature. We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.
